Offered with a 2.5 liter naturally aspirated four cylinder on base trims in the earlier part of this window and a V6 on most trucks, the 4.0 liter V6 through roughly 2019 and a 3.8 liter V6 from 2020 forward, depending on year and trim. Transmissions offered include a manual, a five speed conventional automatic on the earlier trucks and a nine speed conventional automatic from 2020, with rear wheel drive or part time four wheel drive with a low range.
