1. Who we are

This website, click-4-coverage.com, is operated by Click 4 Coverage. Questions about this policy or your information go to support@click-4-coverage.com.

2. What we collect

• Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
• Vehicle details: VIN, year, make, model, and odometer reading.
• Property details if you request a home quote: address, square footage, property type, and year built.
• Payment card details for today's charge, which our payment processor collects in your browser and we receive only as a token. If you choose financing, the installment card or bank account details you enter pass through our servers to PayLink and are not stored by us.
• An odometer photograph if you cancel a vehicle contract.
• Your portal account credentials, stored as a one-way hash.
• Messages you send through the contact form or to our AI assistant.
• If you arrived through an advertising link, a first-party cookie and browser storage entry holding the placement label from that link, kept for 90 days. It identifies the ad placement, not you.
• Your IP address, used to limit abusive traffic and recorded with your consent at checkout as evidence of that consent.
• Aggregate site analytics with no personal identifiers.

3. Why we use it

To quote, issue, and service your Vehicle Service Contract; to process payments and refunds; to run your customer portal; to answer your questions; and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing email.

4. Who we share it with

• The administrator and obligor named in your Service Contract, so they can administer your coverage and claims.
• FortPoint (payments), to charge and refund your card.
• PayLink (financing), only if you choose financing, to set up and bill your installment agreement.
• Supabase (database and sign-in), which stores your records and runs portal sign-in.
• Vercel (hosting and aggregate analytics), which hosts this website.
• Resend (email), which delivers the emails we send you.
• Anthropic (the AI assistant, conversation text only), which receives the text of your conversation with our assistant.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

FortPoint, PayLink, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, and Anthropic process data on our instructions and not for their own purposes.

5. How long we keep it

• Contract, consent, and payment records: 7 years after your contract ends.
• Odometer photographs and cancellation requests: 1 year after the refund.
• Portal account and profile: the life of any contract you hold, then with the records above, or sooner on request.
• Contact-form submissions and our record of emails sent to you: 2 years.
• AI assistant conversations: not stored by us beyond the session.
• Analytics: aggregate only, on our hosting provider's standard retention.

6. Your choices

Email support@click-4-coverage.com from the address on your account to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. We confirm the request by reply, delete everything we are not required to keep for the periods above, and confirm when it is done. For cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
